This video shows our last tool which is extracting room finish materials and area. It is the result of our efforts through the years to automate the process of calculating the total area of room finishes for our projects. our previous tools weren't able to do the job the way we wanted. Now we have a better solution. The tool creates a parameter for each unique room finish material and then fills the material area per room. That is how we are able to extract the total area of a material per level or for the whole project using simple room schedule.
