CHIMNEY ROCK TRAIL CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARK

Chimney Rock was the first trail I hit when I arrived at Capitol Reef National Park in Utah. This trail is a 3.6-mile round trip with 590ft of elevation gain. The park labels this trail as strenuous, but I personally labeled it as moderate. This is a loop trail that climbs to the top of Chimney Rock and gives you amazing views of Capitol Reef before it loops back down. When you get back down to the lower levels of the trail, you see tons of really beautiful and cool red rocks everywhere. The sun was starting to go down, and this part of the hike and the scenery came out beautifully on film. I hope you enjoy my guided tour of another awesome hike at Capitol Reef National Park.
