In most years, this game would be ranked near the bottom of anticipated Big Ten conference games and while that may still be true, Purdue was playing good football and Rutgers was showing some signs of life so perhaps this would be a closely fought game. Both teams feed off turnovers so it’s rather obvious to say that the team that doesn’t turn the ball over will likely win. Gus Edwards needs to help Rutgers control the ball and Purdue just needs to play like they’ve played in the past three games and they’ll be fine. This was a battle of the big uglies up front to sit back, relax, and enjoy this off the radar Big Ten bettle.
