Private development projects can trigger public infrastructure improvements to provide water services, storm and sanitary drainage facilities and transportation improvements for the benefit of the public. These projects are designed, funded, and constructed by the private developer, and upon completion and acceptance by the city, the facilities become public assets. The presentation will answer questions such as: What project types can trigger public infrastructure improvements? Do tenant improvement projects trigger public improvements? Types of public improvements that can be triggered. How do I get more information, before buying a property or starting a development project? “What Kind of Permit Do I Need?” And, where can I find more information online? Staff will be available to answer questions. Presented by Public Works Permitting. If you have questions about the event, contact Valerie Joachim at 503-823-7452.
