Follow the work of Madeleine Park in the hidden oasis of the Dallas World Aquarium. The DWA is a highly acclaimed sanctuary for many rare species, including an antillean manatee from Venezuela. The DWA Amazon Rescue works in Peru to protect and rehabilitate the manatee species. The DWA's primary goals are to rescue, rehabilitate, repopulate, and rerelease many species from around the world. Thanks to Madeleine Park and the DWA for providing the opportunity to film the aquarium and talk to some of the people behind the scenes about how they rescue and enrich the animals at the aquarium.
