The Ghazal revolves around delay, waiting,wrong timings and wrong paths taken.It reflects on life experiences where nothing seems to be happening at the right time. A phase where every prayer strays and wanders and there's no ray of light from any direction.. Translation: The roof,walls ...doors all lay scattered in different directions.... late did I find the address of the house.... Life blessed me with lot of things...... But whatever it gave it gave very late! I sometimes stopped on the way for no reason.... and sometimes....because night descended before the scheduled time.... All the doors opened, remained opened ... then closed... Wherever I went...I went late! Nothing happened in smooth, routine manner.... This is how the days and night went by... Sometimes the moon shined at the wrong time.... Sometimes the Sun rose late at my place! All this is a game of coincidences... this is what separation ...or coming together is ... I turned back again and again... looking afar...waiting for someone to call... But by the time the silence turned into a call ...it was too late!
