At long last a new video from me :} Here is how I made the mushroom treestump aka "Secret of the birch forest". This is not a tutorial or how-to, since I improvised these steps and would most likely do things differently next time. Handbuilt/sculpted with a stoneware pottery clay. The end result is probably a paint palette, or a trinket/jewelry dish, or a place to hide things inside a stump. (This stump has been sold.) Feel free to give me input on the video!
