More info at https://flogandflow.com/2024/05/20/re... Flogging in reverse (striking upwards) can be quite the experience for your bottom. Since the floggers are swinging up from underneath, you can make impact with the meatiest parts of the butt cheeks in a way that you just can't when striking downwards. Plus, if you're extra-mean (or extra-naughty, depending on how you wanna look at it), you can sneak in a few strikes up between the legs. Ooh. Aaaaaaaah ... Ouch? With that, here's my tutorial on reverse six-point Florentine, also known as the three-beat weave, depending on if you're flogging or spinning poi. This video is a direct sequel to my last video on the "forward" three-beat weave. I recommend you start there if you're relatively new to flogging or poi, as I spend more time on basic form and techniques in that video. As in my last tutorial, this one is intended for both flogging and poi spinning. This one is a bit more flogging-centric, though, as I focus on the specific challenges that come up when striking a target upwards. Also as before, I break the lesson down into five sets of basic, fundamental moves, culminating in the reverse three-beat weave at the end Below are the timestamps for each set of fundamental moves: 0:00 Introduction 0:58 Set 1: Together-Same, Split-Same 3:02 Set 2: Backhand, Tic-Tac, Three-Beat 7:46 A Quick Tip If You Use Handled Floggers 9:04 Set 3: Arms Crossed Together-Same and Split-Same 11:11 Set 4: Two-Beat Weave 14:50 Set 5: Three-Beat Weave Hope this tutorial helps! And as always, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
