I really liked the way the olympus lens seemed to have more of a cinematic feel to it. Images I saw seemed a bit more real, but that of course could be based on the photographer and not the gear. I believe it's the artist using the tools that makes the most difference. That being said, I wondered if there could be a reason for the difference in looks. I then found some other sites where I looked at images without knowing if it was taken with olympus 25mm or the panasonic 25mm. I chose the panasonic most of the time. Being the panasonic 25mm F1.7 is $100 cheaper and I own a panasonic camera, I went the panasonic route. In this video, I open the lens for the first time and show you how it performs right out of the box with no post production work. It is a very nice lens with a great depth of field that is pretty easy to work with once you get the hang of shooting at F1.7 levels. Thanks for watching!
