In this video I restore an antique European hewing axe. It is very large and boasts a cutting edge that is almost half a meter (1.5 ft) long. I decided to save the original handle that I got the axe with because I believe it is the original one from when the axe was made. I cleaned off all the rust, repaired the handle, sharpened the edge, and blued the head.
