But one thing after another fell apart. We decided to go with a different idea. We made a concept and Lewis filmed and edited this video in 4 days. Huge thanks to him. Go check out his other work. Be there is a song about being there for somebody. It don’t matter if it’s a partner a friend a enemy or a stranger. Be there for people. Ask if there ok and where there heads at. You don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors. "Bennie" I wrote this song back when we first played in Manchester in early 2022 in a hotel room. I was seeing somebody at the time and was constantly going away here there and everywhere to play gigs or record and practice with the band. I was in a hotel with my guitar and was texting at the time. they was upset that I was away all the time which I can understand. I was trying to explain to them that im just trying to do something with my life. I felt bad about the situation so I wrote part of this song and put my feelings into notes as I find myself doing all the time. I didn't finish it until later that year after finding it on a voice note on my phone. I showed it to the band and we started playing it live and it just grew. emmet really pulled this song together and Elliott just did what he did as always and just pushed the guitars into hyper speed. A huge thank you to Rachel and Amelia in Sheffield for always having us when we play shows and all the support for what we do. You really are amazing ! Sovereigns xXx
