We've taken many jobs in our time, but this time we're operating a remote radio station in a world gone mad. The job seems simple enough, we maintain the outpost and every 30 minutes we type out a report on the typewriter in our outpost however, it seems something horrific has happened to the world. There's talk of anomalies, strange weather patterns and the world seems to have been reorganised into sectors. Somehow, management receives our reports simply by us typing on the typewriter. They know where we are in the outpost. They know when we leave. They know when we deviate from their strict protocols. The typewriter itself sometimes has a mind of its own, typing things without our interaction. Adding to all of this, is the mysterious disappearance of our predecessor. The company says they were reassigned. The radio says they disappeared during a storm. A storm is scheduled to hit our outpost tonight. On top of all of this, someone, or something, has made contact with us and we answered them. What is going on in this world? What does the company know that we don't? Who is the person on the other end of the line? And above all else, who, or what, is watching us? The Last Transmission is an indie project by Hidden Veil Studios, I'm not sponsored by the developers in any way at all, but if you are interested and want to support the devs, you can download the demo and wishlist the game here → https://store.steampowered.com/app/36... #thelasttransmission #pc FOLLOW ME HERE → / imjustingeneral 00:00 - Intro 01:53 - The Game 28:00 - Final Thoughts on the Demo About The Last Transmission: You are the sole operator of radio station 23, deep in the mountains. Your job is simple: monitor the storm, log transmissions, and report your findings. Then a signal cuts through the static. Not yours. Not local. Not possible. A voice whispers your name. The static shifts. The Last Transmission is a short, first-person psychological horror game built around isolation, atmosphere, and slow, creeping dread. You play a radio operator trapped in a remote station, using a radio, phone, and typewriter to make sense of unfolding events as reality gradually unravels. The horror is subtle and narrative-driven, focused less on shocks, and more on the quiet realization that something is deeply wrong. You should stop listening. Somewhere across the lake, a house still waits for someone who never left. The storm devours the mountains. Peaks vanish beneath rolling clouds. And you are completely alone. Or so you thought.
