This Steeldive boasts 300m of water resistance, something I neglected to share in the video. This took forever to be cleared through customs and finally delivered. This was totally the fault of FedEx. I failed to mention in the video that due to the hassle with Turkish customs, steeldives.com informed me that they will no longer deliver to customers in Turkey, that I am the last. The documentation attached to the box was not accepted by the senior clearance administrator at FedEx, in Istanbul, since the stated price was less than what I paid. However Steeldive's customer service is still great for trying to accommodate its customers, they emailed me after my purchase to clarify what value I wanted claimed on the documentation. I told them to keep it honest, since I knew that the package would be inspected and that the website would also be consulted to verify pricing — I wanted no replay of the events last year, with the same clearance administrator that denied my Tactical Frog FX Diver from even going to customs for clearance. I think, in the end, Steeldive is probably using the unit cost on their documentation, for import declaration, but it's just that Istanbul FedEx has an over-zealous clearance administrator that is wired to deny clearance rather than STFU and pass the cargo through to customs to let the adults in the room clear the packages. It's like a security guard that wishes to be a police officer, so they pretend to have more authority than they actually do. Long story short, they cleared the package, but they let it sit for weeks before they moved it to customs for inspection and tax tabulation. FedEx in Istanbul airport is a nightmare that I do not wish on anyone. They act like they are customs officers when they are merely employees of FedEx, whose number one priority ought to be the satisfaction of their customers. But no...
