Tapescan's Old VHS Tape Restoration to Clean and Clear Digital File
In this example Tapescan.com was given an old VHS tape that showed a captured 8mm film on the wall. The video was very blurry, not centered and was practically unwatchable. Using Tapescan's Hi-Definition Restoration process we made the images look clean and crisp. No one would ever know this footage came from a projected 8mm film reel that was recorded on a VHS tape. First, we clean the VHS tape to get the best capture possible. Then we restored the video into Hi-Definition. Finally, we tweaked the colors, sharpened the video and added some music for fun. The results are very obvious -- between Before and After. Keep in mind we are showing you the video at a lower resolution for comparison. The final video was provided at 720p and 1080p High Definition formats. It looks spectacular!
