I'm not great at catching walleye, so we just stuck to what we know... fishing the shallow weedlines. We caught plenty of northern pike, most of them small, but I did have one large one on the line. We struck out on the smallmouth bass and crappies. We did manage to pull in a sauger and walleye while fishing for pike. I really enjoyed fishing Kabetogama. We spent two days here and could have spent a few more days. There are so many good spots to fish that you won't have any trouble finding a spot to yourself.
