Jury selection was not available for broadcast on day 1, but Day 2 was broadcast and we were served an unexpectedly explosive hearing to dismiss due to government misconduct. On June 17, 2025, Judge Roger M. Young heard testimony and arguments on the defense's motion to dismiss the indictment based on government misconduct. Judge Young ruled to quash the indictment without prejudice meaning the AG's Office must go back to the State Grand Jury to bring new charges and Michael Colucci is currently free without any charges pending against him.... Over ten years after 38-year-old Sara Lynn Moore Colucci was found dead outside of her jewelry business in Summerville, South Carolina, her family finally had hope for getting justice... and those hopes crumbled before our eyes.
