However, Xiao Yuan begins developing romantic feelings for Wei Qian, a secret he knows could ruin their relationship forever. A secret that proves itself harder and harder to keep. One day, overcome with jealousy and unable to stop himself, Xiao Yuan kisses a confused and angry Wei Qian. In an attempt to create some distance and hopefully get rid of those feelings forever, Wei Qian decides to send Xiao Yuan abroad. Editing this video brought back soooo many emotions. The acting in this drama is absolutely incredible. Every glance, every smile, every touch felt so meaningful. I know many people didn’t start or finish this because of the “brotherly” relationship the leads had. However, I think this drama did a great job of drawing a line, of showing closeness and intimacy in a way that didn’t feel weird or off putting for the viewer. It is also soo much more tame and “normal” than other BLs with a similar trope.
