Its life whizzes by in slow-motion with every dig into the ground and trounce into the air... Life is unending theater ~ Dance any way you like :) Played entirely on the 3rd fret of the E string on the stainless steel rounds that came on the bass. Tuned to A=432Hz. Powered via Spark GO portable amp on the BlackfaceDuo amp model with Red Comp, Digital Chorus, and Classic Plate pedals active. Ported thru a Focusrite Scartlett 2i2 audio interface and recorded directly into the VSDC Pro Video Editor voice recording app. ~~~~~~~-~ ~My Life~ EADG=Everyday-Ahead-Doing-Great! Because everyday is a move forward - even when it doesn't seem like it. On the spot, totally made up & left as is - What's heard is what was played! Titles and concepts were added while putting the video together. Some ideas come up while playing. Nothing is preplanned (I don't know enough about music to be that clever - I have no musical training and this is my first instrument - I'm 56 :) I listen for a sound and go. I picked up playing bass in October, 2022. I play an hour or two just about everyday. It's been 3 years. If you did anything, could be anything, for an hour everyday for three years, how good would you be? Answer: Doesn't matter how good - you'll just be better than when you started - and that's the fun of it! :) "~Feel~ ~Soul~ ~My Life~" The 3 elements of music - Gary Kang, Leessang ~~~~~~~-~ ~Feel~ This is, "The Bat" - A Silvertone SSLB11 P-style bass in purple (Indonesia). Bought on 5/22/23 from Guitar Center online for $113 delivered. The Silvertone p-bass is not a great bass - I have 4 of them. Huh? It's an awesome bass! (in its category which'd be beginner.) It's light, well-made, is easy to play but still has a growl - I like it! And, this one's action is so low the saddles are slammed to the floor! Sweet! This is no.41 in the herd and I take it out for a run once about every 41 weeks, give or take a few. So, I've thought about selling it a bunch of times. But, of course, you've got to give it another go before you let it go. And, dammit, every time I play it, I have such a good time, I'm thinking, I probably won't get a gazillion for it and it's the only purple bass running in the bunch - so, why the hell am I thinking about selling this thing anyway??? So, here it is - still, and still plenty fun!! [b20251023_bat_bunny run_amp-blackface duo+comp,chor,plat_3e23f254ms] ~~~~~~~-~ Channel Usage Instructions: 1) Pick a playlist or create your own. 2) Set it on a loop, either straight or shuffled. 3) Pick a comfortably loud volume. 4) Hit play and go about your business - it's hours of good background music. (Good headphones and moderately high volume recommended to hear all the nuanced sounds that come out of the very thick bass strings ~ High mass = a ton of sonic possibilities!) I created the music and playlists to be listened to as background music. I find it interesting but not intrusive. If I focus in, there's some really good parts. If I zone out, it stays in the background. This is the 5th round of uploads. There were 285 videos from the previous 4 rounds going back to March 2024. They've all been unlisted (still on the channel and available by link.) Eventually, there'll be 100s of new videos up so that multiple playlists with hours of music will be available.
