There can be no doubt in our hearts and minds that Jesus did and we are called to Go Out With Love. God’s love, God’s plan to include everyone in His invitation for redemption is forged from His Love. The Love of God didn’t stop at revealing part of the truth to the Samaritan Woman; no, there was more. John 4:15–17 “The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.” 16 He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.” 17 “I have no husband,” she replied. Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband.” There’s no condemnation in Jesus’ reply to her; just truth. He knows her past and He’s already looking to her future faith and Kingdom Life. This conversation must has caused her to pause, taken her breath away. I mean, a man she’s never encountered is talking about living water and no my thirst AND He’s just told her about her past! What?! She get’s her footing back and the conversation continues with her pointing out tension between where worship should take place. The Jews believe Jerusalem is the only place worship God and the Samaritan’s on the mountain where she was drawing water. Again, Jesus didn’t take her to task on the matter, BUT He brought truth again. John 4:21–24 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” WOW! The truth of Kingdom Life and Kingdom worship is NOT in a specific location. Worship of the Father is done in community in Spirit and in truth. Let’s make sure we get a soul and spirit vise grip on this truth AND, on the reality of verse 23, “yet, a time is coming AND HAS NOW COME when true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth…!” The Kingdom of God has come is NOW and the love of the Father revealed in Jesus to be witnessed as we Go Out With Love. The only true love is found in Jesus and that love is what the Father uses through you and I as we Go Out With Love, HIS LOVE! What is the Holy Spirit saying to me right now, for today? Will I choose the Way of Jesus leading to a full life or will I choose my own way? Blessings & Peace, Pastor Robert
