SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN) – Two people were killed in separate but related shooting incidents early Sunday morning in Sacramento, which police believe are tied to illegal sideshow activities. The Sacramento Police Department responded to the first incident at approximately 2:00 a.m. on the 2400 Block of Seamist Drive. Officers discovered a male adult suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite life-saving measures attempted by both officers and fire personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. "This is an active investigation, and there are currently no suspects in custody, no current suspect description," the Sacramento Police Department’s Public Information Officer (PIO) stated. Roughly an hour later, at 3:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to a second shooting near Kelton Way and Main Avenue. Initial reports indicated that a victim was transported to a hospital with at least one gunshot wound. However, an update from the Sacramento PIO revealed that two adult males, both suffering from gunshot wounds, had been self-transported to local hospitals. "Unfortunately, one of the males has succumbed to his injuries, while the other is in stable condition," the PIO said. "Homicide investigators will be taking over the scene, and there is currently no suspect information available." While authorities have not confirmed the motive behind these incidents, both shootings appear to be linked to illegal sideshow activities in the area. Police continue to investigate both scenes, and no arrests have been made at this time. ----------------------------------------- For more action news you can trust visit https://www.psnews.us/ Contact [email protected] for licensing.
