MY SURPRISE NEW CAR! Collection Day of an Unexpected Shmeemobile

I've bought a new car, and it's a bit of a surprise! It's collection day of an unexpected Shmeemobile, so we're heading to Bristol for the big reveal, induction tour and handover, plus first drive. It's bright and bold, what do you think!? PLUS: New videos are coming soon on ‪@TheShmuseum‬! ---- SPOILERS BELOW ---- We're heading from The Shmuseum about 150 miles away to visit Dick Lovett BMW in Bristol! That of course means it's something from Munich, and there's no holding back on the spec, because today we're collecting my brand new Sao Paulo Yellow G87 BMW M2 LCI. Deliveries have just begun for the facelifted M2, known as the LCI - Life Cycle Impulse - and things came together very spontaneously for this example in the bonkers colour of Sao Paulo Yellow that had launched with the M3/M4 a few years ago. James at Dick Lovett BMW pulled out all the stops to make this happen in very quick time, so here we go, what a way to wrap up 2024. In terms of optional spec, the LCI includes a lot as standard like the latest iDrive 8.5, Comfort Access, Heads up display, Digital Key, flat bottom steering wheel etc. As a result, my car has only a handful of options from the short list; Sao Paulo Yellow, the BMW M Brakes with Red Callipers, Black Vernasca Leather with Blue Stitching, and lastly the Carbon Fibre Interior Trim inlays.
