It is situated at an altitude of 3,293 meters (10,804 ft) in the Garhwal Himalayas and located approximately 30 kilometers (19 mi) North of Uttarkashi, the headquarters of the Uttarkashi district in the Garhwal Division of Uttarakhand, India. So we covered a 6 Km trek within 2.5 Hours and it was a beautiful day to spend time at Yamunotri Temple, also viewed How beautifully the Yamuna river coming from within the glacier. We took hot spring in 2-degree chill weather, it's a really really great experience in the month of June, where we were surviving with hot and humid temperature in Delhi and in the same time Yamunotri weather too cold and beautiful, seriously guys we enjoyed the trek, mountain, waterfalls, snow, Yamuna River and the great Temple(Yamunotri), also we made khichadi in Suryakund it's very hot water well, where you do make khichadi or boiled any kind of vegetable in that hot water spring.
