A Synthwave / Metal arrangement of Pokémon Red and Blue that brings together the Intro Theme, Trainer Battle, and Gym Leader Battle into a single synthwave / metal-driven experience. The workflow for this particular arrangement involved using a fully recorded demo of the song I made with my old band with me doing composition, drums and keyboards/synth, and my old bandmates doing guitar. Though fully reprocessed by modern tools, the original drums and guitars maintain a lot of their original identity in the second half of the song with percussive hits matching guitar chugs, complementary guitar leads, and aggressive drums that are difficult to achieve with a standard ai-assisted workflow using the original chiptune and ai tools alone. That hands-on foundation made it possible to build tighter rhythmic moments — drum fills that answer lead lines, heavier passages that lock into melodic phrasing — and solos inspired by the kinds of guitar work we used to write back then. It’s a blend of childhood memories and lived musical history, filtered through the lens of synthwave atmosphere and metallic weight.
