Tokyo's HIDDEN GEM "Nezu Shrine" incl. Omamori, Omikuji and Red Gates!

Hidden away in Tokyo you will find Nezu Shrine, famous for its Azaleas and Kyoto style red gates. But this off-the-beaten-track temple has even more to offer. Their handpainted "Omamori", lucky charms or talismans are well known and loved by locals, so make sure you get one while you are visiting! They will set you back about 500Yen, which surprised me, as it is quite cheap in my opinion. You can see all of them here: http://www.nedujinja.or.jp/jyuyohin/j... Also, this is one of the few temples that offer the "Omikuji", fortune papers in different languages. So another thing to pick up, as it is fun and for 100Yen totally worth getting :p And yes, the audio is not perfect, however, it gives you an idea of what summer really sounds like in Japan.
