Young and going blind with Stargardt‘s disease. In this video I discuss my experiences with sight loss as a young child with Stargardt’s disease. In the video, I did not mention that by age 11 or 12 I was legally blind (20/200) Everyone’s experience is different and unique, but I hope my story helps provide insights, food for thought, and a little background info. The next video I will pick up with age 12 and discuss going legally blind as a teenager. 👇👉As a blind mom, my goal across all platforms, is to help my disabled community (especially fellow Blind/VIPs) by promoting education, awareness, advocacy, and insightful discussions.
