Watercolour Paints - Cotman vs Winsor and Newton Artist Quality Paints

Join me on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/scottswinson?... Buy Original Paintings at: www.scottswinson.com This video is about watercolour paints. Thanks for watching! We look at how to mix up tubes of watercolour into a bowel of wash. How student quality paints compare to artist quality paints and how to store them. Below are links to the items used or talked about so you can find them easily. Also in the description below are the things I use to film and edit the video if you are interested. Thanks for watching. If you would like a video on a particular subject in the future then let me know in the comments below and I will make a video about it if I have the knowledge and expertise to. The three colours I will be using over the next 10 lessons will be yellow ochre, cobalt blue and light red. You could get these in any brand or quality but if you get them in Winsor & Newton Artist quality or Cotman then I know the quality will be good. There is nothing worse than getting hundreds of sheets all with a indent in them. Having said that you can actually source this paper from amazon: https://geni.us/RivesBFK Some people have been extremely happy with the state of the paper when it arrived (and some not!) I love this paper it is soft and lights are lifted easily from it.
