Playing the new HillHill Eighty-Nine (HH89) level 3 8-ball cards in a focused self-practice session today. This is one of my very favorite pool accessories/practice aids that's come out over the past few years and I really can't say enough about them. I've purchased all 3 * decks to date and carry them with me in my pool case, and the new set (HH89 - https://www.hillhillgame.com/hill-hil...) is focused specifically on 8-ball and 9-ball pattern play, with some nice challenges in the mix. You can run each card playing either solids or stripes, or in these videos I've tried to run both in most cases just for fun. What I like about these cards the most is you're forced into focusing on specific problems and plays/patterns that come up all the time in matches, so being able to work these out and "get out" from such situations is very satisfying, either practicing alone or with a group of friends. Have played this in groups of varying skill levels also, and it's a lot of fun. I didn't get through the entire 8-ball deck on this occasion as I was a little short on time (To be continued for sure, and with the 9-ball set likewise to follow at a later date), but I got through most of 'em at least, with varying measures of success. Let me know if you guys run the various patterns differently (There's more than 1 way to skin the cat, as they say), and again, I'd highly recommend getting a set of your own to sharpen your skills and get those run outs happening more and more. 00:21 - Any Means (III) 01:00 - Did not mean for that 5 ball to land glued to the rail!! This is gonna make the shot a lot tougher...... :-( 01:41 - Nice controlled pot. Right spin on cue ball, so the 5 hugs the rail all the way home.... 03:21 - Hal Ashby (III) 10:12 - Stress (III) 16:19 - I just lost a bet (III) 23:05 - The Rival Cycle (III) Gotta return to this one and re-play the stripes. Finished the solids easily enough. 34:36 - Play the Poet (III) Oops! That 6-ball shouldn't be on the table! Dunno why I didn't spot that one, as it actually makes the breakout a lot easier.... Gotta return to this one also and re-play the stripes..... 42:05 - Habitual (III) 48:24 - Viral (III) Didn't get through the solids on this one technically (Roll it again Roisin!). Try again next time round 56:55 - Little Tyrants (III) @TigressBilliards @SingaporeStingers @Ohio674StraightPool @poolbuddyankit @MissedAgainPool
