Hey guys and welcome to my channel ♡ In this Japan travel vlog we make a day trip to Katsuo-ji temple which is located in Minoo city, Osaka. It is a unique and beautiful temple, with so many small darumas at every corner of the area. You can find really random placed darumas if you just look out for them! Did you know that the daruma symbolise for victory/success in life (for example for one's work, studies, career, business). You may write your wishes at the back of the daruma and then you should colour the left side of the eye with black ink first which means the beginning of things, and then only you will colour the right eye once your wish has come true, as the right eye means the end of things. Once your wish has come true, you can return the eyes-painted daruma back to the shop where you bought it as a way to show gratitude. Did you also know that the daruma is usually painted red because in Japan red has long been believed to ward off evil spirits and poor health. A daruma can also be used as a decorative talisman to ward off misfortune in your home and workplace. I have enjoyed watching other people's vlogs and was amazed at how they edit their videos.
