Le Mole di Narni si trovano a ridosso delle Gole del Nera, a pochissimi chilometri da Narni e da Stifone. In questo luogo si cela un gioiello nascosto: una stretta valle in cui scorre il Nera, creando una piscina naturale con l’acqua che si dissolve in stupende sfumature turchesi e smeraldo. È talmente limpida che s’intravedono le rocce, creando suggestivi contrasti. Le rive sono ammantate di vegetazione selvaggia e trasformano questo luogo in un rifugio ideale durante le giornate afose. Il comune ha da poco rivalutato l’area e ha costruito un solarium in legno. Il posto è conosciuto infatti anche col nome di “solarium fiume Nera“. Un angolo di paradiso, un pezzettino di Umbria per tutti coloro che amano fare trekking (ci sono dei percorsi anche per le mountain bike). Se siete amanti del genere fantasy, come me, saprete che a Narni e nei suoi dintorni si trovano i luoghi che hanno ispirato “Le cronache di Narnia”. Il laghetto descritto da C. S. Lewis sembrerebbe quello de Le Mole. Lo scrittore britannico non è l’unico a esserne rimasto incantato, come lui anche altri letterati che compivano il Grand Tour percorrendo la strada verso Roma. Come si arriva a Le Mole? Non essendoci segnaletica, è davvero difficile raggiungere questo piccolo paradiso. Noi ci siamo riuscite dopo tanta pazienza. Considerate che c’è un tratto in cui manca il segnale e i navigatori smettono di funzionare, inoltre lungo la strada non ci sono bar o ristoranti per chiedere informazioni. Le Mole di Narni si trovano lungo la strada Narni-Nera Montoro-Orte, a poche centinaia di metri da Stifone. L’indirizzo è Strada dello Stabilimento. Si può arrivare con la macchina e lasciarla lungo un vialetto e poi scendere a piedi. Di fronte a voi scorgerete immediatamente la piscina con tutte le sue variazioni di colori. -------------------------------------------------------------- The Mole di Narni are located close to the Gorges of the Nera, a few kilometers from Narni and Stifone. If you are a fan of the fantasy genre, like me, you will know that in Narni and its surroundings are the places that inspired “The Chronicles of Narnia”. The lake described by C. S. Lewis seems to be that of Le Mole. The British writer is not the only one to have been enchanted by it, like him also other writers who made the Grand Tour along the road to Rome. How do you get to Le Mole? As there are no signs, it is really difficult to reach this little paradise. We succeeded after a lot of patience. Consider that there is a stretch where the signal is missing and the navigators stop working, furthermore there are no bars or restaurants along the road to ask for information. The Mole di Narni are located along the Narni-Nera Montoro-Orte road, a few hundred meters from Stifone. The address is Strada dello Establishment. You can arrive by car and leave it along a driveway and then walk down. In front of you you will immediately see the swimming pool with all its variations of colors.
