A vintage gusset fork sourced from an online auction. It appears to be from a British bike, though details are unclear. We'll modify this niche part to fit the Knucklehead frame. First, the stem shaft diameter was the same inch specification, so minor machining sufficed. However, the old British inch standard differs from today's, so the original threads were unusable. We machined part of the shaft to convert it to UNF standard. Additionally, there were surprisingly many small modifications, like adjusting the stem length to match the gutter fork. Since the fork is narrower than the front hub, we also narrowed the hub to match. Everything finished with just enough clearance.
