#eden #caravanaustralia #greynomadsaustralia This week we are at Ingenia Eden just south of Eden on the beachfront, it was a great spot very quite but still close to town, we did a day trip down to Cape Green, Boyd Tower, Davidson Whaling Station, and Cape Green Lighthouse, the next day we went north again to Beowa National Park to the Pinnicales, and up to Haycock Point. We managed to catch fish off the Eden Jetty, made for a great dinner, on the way home we saw a guy weighing the biggest Marlin, he had been spear fishing for marlin of Eden and had landed a beauty, it was a massive fish, just goes to show what fish you can catch at Eden if your keen, We also went for lunch for my birthday at Longstocking Brewery and had the nicest lunch, 0:00 Intro 0:17 Map 0:39 Arriving in Eden 0:49 Ingenia Eden Caravan Park 1:53 Exploring Eden 2:10 Canadian Love Seat Lookout 2:46 Eden Jetty 3:11 Eden Foreshore 4:07 Boyd Tower Beowa National Park 6:32 Davidson Whaling Station Beowa National Park 8:49 Cape Green Lighthouse Beowa National Park 10:24 Pinnacles Loop Lookout Beowa National Park 13:00 Quondolo Point Beowa National Park 16:15 Haycock Point Beowa National Park 17:25 Fishing at Eden Jetty 17:38 Catching Bonito at Eden 18:56 Catching Salmon at Eden 19:26 Longstocking Brewery 20:40 Spearfishing Marlin at Eden 20:59 Beachfront Ingenia Eden 21:25 Photos We are Bec and Ed, from Aussie Nomad Destinations, we are traveling around Australia in our Jayco Silverline Caravan and Next Gen Ford Ranger, and we have been travelling now for two years. Setting off in a trusty camper van or towing a caravan, grey nomads traverse rugged outback terrains, lush rainforests, and sun-kissed coastal stretches, each offering its own unique charm. The freedom of the open road beckons, with countless camping spots nestled along the way, from designated campgrounds with modern facilities to remote bush sites under a blanket of stars. As the sun dips below the horizon, gathering around a crackling campfire becomes a cherished ritual, sharing stories and laughter with fellow travellers or simply relishing the serenity of nature's embrace. With every dawn, there's a new adventure awaiting, whether it's exploring ancient Aboriginal rock art, spotting native wildlife in their natural habitats, or simply basking in the tranquillity of untouched landscapes. Camping as a grey nomad in Australia is not just a journey; it's a lifestyle of discovery, connection, and endless possibilities.
