AT&T Covered Call Strategy Earns 2% monthly In this video, I give an update on a covered call contract I wrote on AT&T almost 30 days ago. The contract expires this Friday, and from the looks of it, it will expire worthless, allowing me to keep the stock and the premium. I use AT&T as a great example of stock to use the wheel strategy on. Not only do I write covered calls on AT&T stock, but I also sell cash secured puts. These two strategies, combined with the excellent 6% dividend yield that AT&T offers, make this a very attractive stock to trade. From a risk factor, I like trading this stock because it requires very minimum attention, and the moves are predictable. I run this play over and over each month.
