Using placeholders in Camtasia can save you a lot of time, by defining the placement, length and properties of clips, then dropping other clips in their place. Camtasia automatically replaces, expands or contracts the clips and you can export the resulting clip immediately. In this tutorial we look at creating a series of clips on the timeline, turning them into placeholders and dropping in different clips in their place.
