LOW LANDINGS and JETBLASTS at ST. MAARTEN and Skiathos - Boeing 747, B757, A340 ... ✈️

Low landings and Jetblasts at St. Maarten and Skiathos, two of the most amazing airports in the world. Some years ago we visited Maho Beach, St. Maarten to film the KLM Boeing 747 arriving over the famous beach at St Maarten. Sadly nowadays there are no Jumbo Jets left at the dutch/french island and KLM is currently using the Airbus A330-200 on this route. Air France also swichted the Airbus A340 to an A330-200 on the Paris - St. Maarten route. The second airport shown in this video is Skiathos, a small island in greece, where the planes have to cross a small street right behind the runway. The biggest aircraft which is allowed to land there is a Boeing 757-200. Currently the biggest aircraft which operates at Skiathos is the Airbus A321 mainly due to the fact that most airlines already replaced the aging B757-200s with A321`s.
