Step 1 -- First of all you need a software called Microsoft expression web , I am using version 4 in this tutorial. You can use any one . download it from Microsoft website and install it on your computer . Step 2 -- Now open that software and create a new blank website template as shown in the videos . once the web template is created you need to create two different web pages in any language either php , asp dot net , etc . in this video tutorial I am using asp.net , because of its popularity . the first page will be used for entering data the search box and making a database search . hence we will name it as search.aspx and save it as shown in video. Step 3 -- Now we will create the second webpage which will be used to display the search results after shorting the database . Hence we will rename the web page as results .aspx. and save . Step 4 -- Now the most important thing we will now create a database to store data . here we are free to use any type of database either mysql database or ms access database . in this video tutorial I had explained by using ms access database. So open a blank database from ms access , create some database tables containing rows and columns . Rename the level with the proper name which you want to search or display the results on the website .and give a database file name and save it . Step 5 -- now open the search.aspx web page and drag and drop a box and a button from the tool bar as shown in tutorial . rename the levels and button , now set the redirection url in the specified place. And save the webpage. Step 6 -- Now open results.aspx web page and from the tool bar in standard aspx category select data and within data drag and drop the -- grid view in to the results page .configure the webpage to create a database driven website as shown in tutorial.
