WALKS IN HAMPSHIRE at BINSTED (INC FIELD MARSHALL MONTGOMERY'S GRAVE) (SOUTH DOWNS NATIONAL PARK)

In this episode of my series “ Walks in Hampshire”, I take a walk in & around the pretty village of Binsted in Hampshire (located 4 miles East of Alton, just inside the South Downs National Park). Once again I am accompanied by my Whippet, Logan. I park my car at the recreation ground & start my 4 mile circular walk with a wander through the village & include a visit to the Church of Holy Cross which has the grave of Field Marshall Bernard Law Montgomery in the churchyard. My route takes me West along the edges of field to a small valley at which point I turn South, following a stream, to go past the delightful lakes that are close by to Forty Acres (part of a Conservation area). I then head East past a couple of farms and the magnificent South Hay House towards Wheatley before heading back to Binsted and my final destination – The Binsted Inn. At the end of the video, I talk about “Videopad” - the editing software that I have used since I started this Youtube channel some 3 years ago.
