DESSINATEUR DE MANGA 漫画家　MANGA ARTIST Jiro Taniguchi's work is centered around the every day themes, the slowness, the solitary walk, the relations between man and nature. Well known in France for his intimistic parallel universes with "Quartier Lointain", he was awarded numerous prizes in Europe. He notably cooperated with Moebius on a manga called "ICARE". Ever since I heard one of his radio interviews where he explained that nothing could ever be the same after March 11th, I had wanted to meet him. FR Jiro Taniguchi travaille autour des thèmes du quotidien, de la lenteur, la promenade solitaire, les relations entre l'homme et la nature. Très connu en France pour ses univers intimistes parallèles depuis "Quartier Lointain", il a reçu plusieurs prix en Europe. Il a notamment collaboré avec Moebius sur une BD intitulée "ICARE".
