The All Africa Independent Film Festival proudly partners with Cora Library for the inaugural AAIFF Book Club. This collaboration is rooted in one belief: if we want stronger African cinema, we must strengthen reading culture. The AAIFF Book Club is more than a literary gathering. It is a space where filmmakers, writers, readers, and cultural thinkers engage deeply with texts and examine how stories move from page to screen. Through this partnership, we are intentionally building: •⁠ ⁠A stronger reading culture within the creative industry •⁠ ⁠A community of serious thinkers and storytellers •⁠ ⁠Intellectual safe spaces for dialogue, disagreement, and growth •⁠ ⁠A bridge between literature and film Cora Library will be speaking on the importance of nurturing reading communities and sustaining intellectual ecosystems that allow African stories to thrive.
