Check our website: https://www.imagingstudy.com Foreign Body Granuloma with Abscess | Fish Bone | Ultrasound || Case 285 Clinical Features: A 55 years old female patient came with Painful foot swelling H/o fish bone impaction Ultrasound Features: A small linear echogenic structure of about 10mm in length is seen within a hypoechoic collection along with debris bounded by a thick irregular margin and surrounding fat plane irregularity at the ventral aspect of the foot below the calcaneum, 3mm deep from the skin surface. Color Doppler shows increased perilesional vascularity. Remember: When you see an abscess cavity, don’t forget to see underlying bone surface irregularity and/or communication with the bone.
