I take one last look at this tool that only produced poorly balanced wheels for me. If you have one of these tools, I suggest that as a last step in the balancing process, you lift the wheel, turn it 90° and place it back on for a final check. If it is still balanced - great!! You have a good unit. If not, well, perhaps it's due to one of the problems I show in this video. I spent many hours (links below) trying to get tires balanced on this tool and failed each time. Driving on wheels balanced on this tool resulted in vibrations starting around 65mph (~100km/hr). It felt unsafe just a few mph above that speed. It's now a paper weight in my storage shed. I wonder why they are on a "clearance sale"??? Results from the vertical balancers are good. No vibrations at speeds as fast as I want to drive, but they are tricky to produce and the hub will fit only one size of wheel. The horizontal balancer has great promise, but can be unstable and not work on certain wheels.
