You have to follow the simple guidelines during surgery. We are having two options of trimming the hair one is we entirely trim the hair zero trim will be there entire head otherwise with trimming in a smaller zone. So you should not apply anything on the hair during this period. After 4 weeks you can start applying hair colour . Now if you are already been using hair color since many years and if you are comfortable with any particular type of hair dye you are comfortable to use it then you can go ahead with it and use the hair dye . If you are not used hair dye earlier then I would suggest to use at least 1 month give interval after hair transplantation as the skin will be more sensitive, redness or little sensitivity there in the first one one week . After one month it is safe do hair diet hair coloring can sometimes cause allergy in some patients they get redness itching or irritation on the scalp so hair dye should not be done till 1 month after hair transplantation. If you are encountering any such issues where you get any itching redness irritation of scalp then you'll have to avoid using hair dye consult a doctor . Hair dye can be done monthly once once your hair transplant is done it will take at least one month to start seeing some growth of hair of your existing old hairs. So during this period after one month of hair transplantation also you can start colouring your hair. This can be continued throughout your life and it will not affect your transplanted hairs. Transplanted hairs will continue to grow as a normal hair and you can cut and trim them or color them as per your requirement in men and women. There is no specific side effects because of hair dye you can safely do a different types of hair dye which is comfortable for you people who are having allergy to only have to avoid and consult a doctor before.
