We finally tackled one of the biggest visual upgrades inside our Pearson Triton sailboat — repainting the interior walls and giving the salon a much-needed refresh. What started as a simple paint project quickly turned into something bigger. Between sanding, dust, drying time, and a few unexpected challenges, this upgrade ended up changing how the entire space feels. We also took on our first attempt at making new salon bench cushions — with absolutely no experience — just to see if we could make this boat feel a little more like home. This boat may be old, free, and a little rough around the edges, but little by little we’re learning, fixing, and figuring things out as we go.
