The build process was stupid and fucking annoying. This board is less troublesome with hotswap and for solder, the only way to take the internals out is to desolder 8 switches as they block the internal screws. Either that or cut the corner of the switches, pick your poison. Like ??????? This shit cost fucking 350usd at retail and is kind of high end already. On top of that they gave shims that are too thick and don't work. like do you prototype your shit bro????. I spent way too long trying before finding out from the discord. And idk why but the screwdriver given DOES NOT WORK for a screw. So I had to buy one from outside and delay my build for a day... If the board cost a $100 I can understand but for a board of this price point... Ai03, please get your shit together please and thank you. ACTUALLY ABOUT THE SOUND AND FEEL ABOUT THIS BOARD ONCE BUILT: Actually sounds and feels so good ughhhhhhhhh. The spacebar is 10000/10 and makes this board sound so nice. This board has a very heavy gasket sound and the sound profile can also be tuned with the foam. My friend asked for both case foam and the plate foam to be all stuffed at the bottom. The board could barely close after that but it was the foamiest shit ive heard in my life. At that pt the board kinda lost any kind of character it had (he luved it n thats what matters). With no foam abit more of the switch sound came out. Do I like it? probably for the first day of using it. I will definitely get tired of the sound very fast. In my opinion, top mount still unbeaten. The feel of the board was also very nice. Althought with an aluminium plate, it was very soft. Was this worthy of board of the year?
