WORKING WITH SERISSA

In this video I elevate an exposed root serissa and replant it into it's pot. I talk about types of serissa and show several examples. These plants are very easy to root, grow on and use to create bonsai or penjing plantings. If properly grown and cared for they can become rather large plants, even tree like in form and stature. I show an example of a trident maple that is being repurposed as a single tree rather than as a part of a root over rock planting. This video is as usual for showing examples of what is possible and to inspire creators of bonsai in their endeavor.
