A terminal of this size required special treatment. It is important that the 54 tanks at this plant are equipped with an extinguishing system. WB Firepacks has been contracted by Cegelec Belgium for the furnishing of the pump room. The question was twofold: a pump room for the supply of water and a pump room for the supply of foam concentrate. Given the flammability of the goods within this plant, it is important that the correct amount of foam is allocated. To make sure that the installation does what it is supposed to do, a live foam test was carried out by Cegelec Belgium. The purpose of this test was to see whether all systems met the predefined requirements. The results of the test were positive.
