Episode 7 We read an email from Allie about her postpartum anxiety experiences and fears of there being no right move to make to promise her baby she won't be traumatized by life (thanks Disney...). Sometimes we cannot promise things that will keep others from every feeling pain, because we do not control that. but we can be realistic about our expectations for ourselves and offer our loved ones everything we can to prepare them to also enjoy life and not feel alone. Sometimes intrusive thoughts can be reasoned with or ignored like jumping off of a perfectly safe platform while attached to a skinny rope, sometimes we do have to go check if the horse water is off because it probably isn't. Also included in this episode are some updates on both of our recent travels, and how not to get kidnapped from fake Uber drivers. There are some mild swear words scattered about just so ya know.
