After a great first Formation Damage Webinar yesterday we introduce the first of our Core Analysis and EOR webinar series on Thursday 7th May (13:00 UTC). “Coring is not Boring” discusses the impact of coring, core retrieval and wellsite handling on core analysis data, and provides suggested mitigation approaches to reduce detrimental artefacts. Webinar Speaker: Jules Reed. Jules joined Premier Oilfield Group earlier this year as Global Technical Manager bringing almost 30 years of expert industry experience. He is the co-author of the authoritative book, Core Analysis: A Best Practice Guide; V64 in Elsevier’s Developments in Petroleum Science series and is former President of the Society of Core Analysts and currently sits on its Technical Committee. Jules is an expert in most aspects of core analysis, with particular insight on wettability, capillary pressure, relative permeability, and EOR. He is also a peer reviewer for a number of technical journals, including SPERE and JPSE.
