In the wake of rising covid cases, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high level meeting to review the covid preparedness today. Top ministers like Home Minister Amit shah and Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia attended the meet, and also submitted a status report to the PM on the covid alert. India reached its highest daily caseload in 5 months on Wednesday. Five deaths have been reported from 4 states. The daily positivity rate was recorded at 1.09% while the weekly positivity was pegged at 0.98%.
