In this presentation Melbourne Laureate Professor Emeritus John Hattie highlights Five Big Ideas from the more recent interpretations of these data: 1. Optimal climate and culture of the class and school 2. The Intentional Alignment model of Teaching and Learning 3. The mind frames and evaluative thinking that underlie expertise 4. Teacher self-concept 5. The impact of AI Presenter bio: John Hattie is Laureate Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Education at the University of Melbourne, Chief Academic Advisor for Corwin, i-Ready Technical Advisor, and co-director of the Hattie Family Foundation. His Visible Learning research is based on ¼ billion students and he continues to update this research (with the recent Sequel). He has published and presented over 1000 papers, 70 books, and supervised 221 theses students.
