HEAVY CROSSWIND LANDINGS during a STORM at Amsterdam! - BOEING 747`s and more ...

Last sunday I visited Amsterdam Schiphol to film a few crosswind landings of heavy planes on the Polderbaan during stormy weather. It` s very impressive when a Boeing 747 points its nose directly at your camera just seconds before the touchdown. I was able to film a few interesting heavies, especially the Surinam Airbus A340. Took me a while to finally get acceptable footage of this rare Airbus. The slovakian Boeing 747 of Air Cargo Global was a special highlight aswell although it was the second time I was able to film this rare Boeing 747. Amsterdam Schiphol is always worth a visit, the filming opportunities are incredible cause there are no fences around the airport. Featured planes: 1.) Nippon Cargo Boeing 747-8F 2.)
